Supporting A Closer Understanding of ASEAN
Provides a platform to learn about ASEAN, ASEAN Community, ASEAN Member States and ASEAN Dialogue Partners. The platform shares knowledge about the working of ASEAN, ASEAN agreements forming the integrated ASEAN single economic and production base (AFAS, ATIGA, ATISA and ACIA); accessing ASEAN markets, its institutional architecture; and its relationship with other economies such as by way of free trade agreements including the Regional Cooperation Economic Partnership.
Materials for Learning about ASEAN
We provide short courses, professional courses and special bespoke training and lean on ASEAN. They range from ASEAN integration, doing business in ASEAN and ASEAN Member States, utilising ASEAN Agreements including ATIGA, AFAS, ATISA and ACIA, ASEAN Plus Agreements (e.g. RCEP) and economic diplomacy in ASEAN. Where possible, we also provide courses on ASEAN and other international organisations such as APEC and the WTO
ASEAN Trade and Investment Research Network
We create bespoke research and education programs to address the needs of researchers, teachers and their student communities on ASEAN, with specific interest in ASEAN trade and investment issues.
Creating understanding and integrating ASEAN happen within the context of a larger community, within the ASEAN Member States and ASEAN Plus communities. Our approach extends beyond the classroom and official channels to help ensure deeper understanding about ASEAN and to encourage greater integration within ASEAN and between ASEAN and the World.
